More about Centa Co
Centa Co was established in 2009 and we are a contracted provider of day services for Medway Council, Kent County Council and the NHS. We also support privately funded clients.
We have tried to innovate day centre support, raising the bar in terms of what is generally expected of a day centre. One of our our passions is to try to unlock potential in clients. Another key focus is to support our clients to socialise and network together in a safe, engaging environment.
Our 2000 sq ft unit is purposely open plan as this promotes interaction. Unlike the majority of other day centres, Centa Co closes at 4:30 p.m. which we believe gives clients a good full day experience. We provide transport for those who need i.
Centa Co day centre, Chatham, has places available every day of the week, Monday to Friday.
We even do drop in sessions!
Why do we offer a drop in option for clients? Because autistic individuals particularly but others too can have variable energy and motivation levels day to day.
Prospective clients are able to have three assessment sessions for no charge to try the day centre out.
Clients may attend accompanied by their own one-to-one support worker, if they wish, for the assessment sessions and beyond, if they join.
Brain rehabilitation following brain injury
We are increasingly supporting adults who require rehabilitation therapy following a brain injury, which they can receive in the rich social environment of a day centre amongst others doing similar activities!

Our Approach
Centa Co provides person-centred, choice-led support, tailoring each day to the interests, strengths and needs of the individual. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, clients are supported to take part in activities they genuinely enjoy, helping to promote wellbeing, motivation and personal growth.

Have a learning disability, autism, or both

Many clients attend through local authority funding, while private placements are also welcomed

Arts, crafts and model making
